An independent filmmaker, Mavi Phillips is a director, writer, cinematographer, production designer, editor, and producer on her own narrative and documentary films.

Several years dedicate to producing her own projects, Mavi Phillips’s personal films switch between ethno-fictions and narrative films, often blurring the two. She has produced these films in France, Morocco, Hungary, Italy, and the USA. She is currently in development of her first feature film.
